The original Golden Grill may be all but gone, but the memories live on.
This Christmas will be another chance to celebrate the 80s when a Golden Grill reunion disco takes place at the Station House Hotel on December 29th.
Last year, a group of townies came together to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the iconic Golden Grill by organising an over-50s night that showcased the best of the bygone days.
The night was complete with Victor Fisher on the door, and it was such a huge success that it sold out in a flash. The dance floor never emptied on the night, as old friends came together to share good times.

This year’s Christmas disco is expected to be just as much craic.
Tickets will go on sale on Friday 27th October at the Station House Hotel Reception and from Brian Wilson’s Heel 2 Toe shop on Main Street. Tickets: €10 per person.
