Gardaí say a woman suffered a ‘substantial loss’ after her purse was stolen from a shop in Letterkenny last week.
The incident occurred at the Fort Lynne Retail Park at around 3pm last Tuesday, October 10.
A woman accidentally left her purse in the toilets of one of the stores, however, when she went back to retrieve it, it was gone. It contained a large sum of cash, bank cards and a driving licence. The bag is described as cream in colour with letter D in gold on front. Cash, bank cards and driving licence.
“The CCTV is very good in that shop so, hopefully, we will have a good image of the suspect,” Gada Niall Maguire said.
“Whoever has the bag can still return it to Letterkenny Garda Station.”
