There were great celebrations last night as the Central Hotel and Lesure Centre in Donegal Town was awarded Best Local Hotel in the Irish Hotel Awards ceremony.

Having scooped Best Family Hotel in 2022, the Central Hotel team are thrilled to be awarded Best Local Hotel for 2023.

Receiving the coveted accolade was deputy manager Alvin Cooper, along with front office manager, Shouna Cunningham.

Nestled in the Diamond of Donegal Town, the Central Hotel and Leisure Centre is a landmark of the town and prides itself on exceptional service for long generations towards the local community and beyond

Speaking of this prestigious award, General Manager Breda Haden said: “Our local supporting community combined with excellent guest service is key to continuing the hotel’s success
