To mark the 1500th anniversary next year of the death of one of Ireland’s most loved saints, a photographer is calling on all Donegal Brigids to come forward.
World-renowned camera woman, Deirdre Brennan, is creating a brand-new portrait project about women with the name Brigid, Brid, Bridey or any other spelling.
“I would love to hear from any Brigids who might be interested – I can travel to you to take a portrait,” she said.
