Donegal will escape the worst of the wet weather forecast to cause havoc in the south of the country today.
The morning will start cloudy with rain developing across Ulster, turning heavy at times too. The rain will move off to the north later this afternoon followed by scattered showers. Highest temperatures of 10 to 13 degrees in an easterly breeze.
It will stay rather cloudy with showers, but they will become more isolated later in the night. Lowest temperatures of 6 to 8 degrees with light southeasterly breezes.
Tomorrow will see a mix of cloud and scattered showers, but some dry spells at times too. The showers will become more isolated during the afternoon with some sunny spells developing. Highest temperatures of 12 to 14 degrees in mostly light winds.
