A Donegal teenager has been found safe following a two-month-long appeal.

Fourteen-year-old Steven Boyle went missing from Burnfoot on 22nd August.

Gardaí issued a nationwide appeal for information. Last week, the search was extended into Northern Ireland with the assistance of the PSNI.

It was confirmed this afternoon that Steven has been located.

“Gardaí would like to thank the public and the media for their assistance,” a spokesperson said.
