The annual Letterkenny Halloween Fest is set to make a welcome return to the Main Street on Tuesday 31st of October.

The Halloween Fest has delighted children, teens and their families for many years and always delivers a fantastic Halloween buzz to the town. The annual festival is being organised by ShopLK, together with the team at Letterkenny CDP.

The fest will kick off from 12:30pm on the day, with lots of exciting activities lined up for everyone to enjoy. Families will experience all the usual favourites, such as the trick or treat trail, lots of family activities in The Courtyard Shopping Centre and the ever popular fancy-dress competition.   This year we will be joined by our new witch, Gertrude for the Halloween storytelling sessions in the Library.  As an added extra, we have the photo booth at Market Centre, to capture your FREE memory of the day.

The trick or treat trail will run from 1pm to 3pm, with local businesses providing treats for everyone.

Children and their families can also register (for a small fee) to take part in the fancy-dress competition organised by Letterkenny CDP.

The afternoon rounds off with a Fancy Dress Halloween Parade led by Pinehill Studio Dancers leaving McGettigan’s Hotel at 4pm and arriving at The Courtyard Shopping Centre for the ever popular prizegiving.

The President of Letterkenny Chamber, Fionnuala Rabbitt, said, “We’re very excited about Halloween Fest this month.  This event is a must for families looking for some Halloween fun. We encourage children, families and our businesses to dress up and join in the fun.  The Halloween activities always bring a buzz to the Town Centre and give families a great, fun afternoon out.”

Check out the Letterkenny Halloween Fest 2023 Facebook event page for all the details on the fest.

ShopLK is funded by under the Retail Promotion Initiative by Donegal County Council and Halloween Fest 2023 is being delivered in partnership with Letterkenny CDP.
