Gardaí have confirmed they arrested two men following a public order incident in Letterkenny on Monday evening.

They received a report of an incident that occurred at approximately 5:05pm on Ramelton Road. Two men, both aged in their 30s, were arrested a short time later.

“One of these men was released without charge and an adult caution has been administered,” a garda spokesperson said.

“The other was charged and is due to appear before a sitting of Letterkenny District Court on the 6th of November.”
