Over 40 local school children in Rathmullan became “mini medics” for the day, after receiving life-saving CPR training at school.
The event was provided by the local Rathmullan Area Defib group, with training given by Vital Obs Donegal.
Children from St Joseph’s NS and St Garvan’s NS got CPR and defibrillator training this week, with 5th and 6th class students learning vital life-saving skills – and having a bit of fun also!
The initiative is set to be rolled out every year for 5th and 6th class students in Rathmullan and surrounding areas.
Organisers have issued a special thanks to Paul Stevenson of Vital Obs Donegal for his course which all the children enjoyed.
