Reports of low flying German military plane over west Donegal

Reports have been circulating of a low flying German Luftwaffe (Air Force) plane over west Donegal this morning. 

A number of readers contacted Donegal Daily to say they heard a ‘really loud’ airplane flying at a ‘extremely’ low altitude over the Annagry area at 6:08am.

According to the Path Finder flight tracker app, the aircraft was a German Air Force A400 M180 which is a European four-engine turboprop military transport aircraft made by Airbus.
