Applications are now open, as the search has begun for the next winner of the Donegal Person of the Year award.
Any person or group can submit a nomination, with the only conditions being that the nominee is from Donegal, and has provided a signifigant effort in promoting County Donegal on the local, national or international stage.
Last year the award was given to the people of Creeslough following the Creeslough tragedy, with the 2021 award being given to hotelier Noel Cunningham.
Nominations should include the reasons why the nominee should be Person of the Year, with any supporting documents or personal testimonies also welcome in the nomination.
You can submit your nominations through the Donegal Association website, donegalassociation.ie, by emailing info@donegalassociation.ie, or in writing to The Donegal Association, 33 Upper Merrion Street, Dublin 2.
The closing date for nominations is Thursday the 30th of November.
