Mark your calendars for the ATU Donegal November Open Day on Thursday 9th November from 9.30am to 2pm.

This event is a great opportunity to get a taste of university life and learn about the exciting programmes and services that ATU Donegal offers.

During this on-campus event at the Letterkenny campus, you will have the chance to take a campus tour and explore the various facilities on offer. You will also have the opportunity to meet current students and learn about their experiences first-hand.

The Academic and Student Support Team will be on hand to provide department overview talks, student life talks, scholarships, accommodation and CAO talks. You will also be able to visit the Student Support Services and Careers Advice Stand, where you can learn about the many resources available to help you succeed at ATU Donegal and beyond.

Emily McBride, a second-year student of the BSc (Hons) Construction Management said: “I would encourage people to attend the Open Day at ATU. There are so many different courses at the university. I didn’t know that my course was here until I came and saw it.

“The Open Day changed everything for me. I liked woodwork in secondary school but I didn’t know what I wanted to do from that. The Open Day gave me the chance to talk to lecturers about what Construction Management contained.”

Whether you are a prospective student, a parent, or a teacher, the ATU Donegal Open Day is a must-attend event. This is your chance to learn about the many opportunities available to you at ATU Donegal and to find out how you can become part of the vibrant and supportive community.
Prospective students can speak to students at the university and explore the facilities available at ATU Donegal.

Emily said: “I was thrilled that I chose ATU because it was close to home and I didn’t have to worry about getting accommodation or having to travel to different universities.”

Jerry Drumm, a final year undergraduate student of BSc (Hons) Bioanalytical Science, said: “ATU Donegal has a great sense of community and offers great support from staff and students alike. My course has been a lot of work but worth every second.

“Students should come to the Open Day to see all the possibilities in front of them.

“Come along to see what captures your interest and get ideas on what you want to do moving forward.”

Victoria Wilson, Schools Engagement Officer at ATU Donegal said: “At this event, prospective students have the opportunity to meet academic staff, learn more about the degree programmes offered at ATU Donegal, and discuss their CAO possibilities. When it comes to making their CAO decisions, a lot of students find this event to be helpful.

“Importantly, during the event, academic and student support staff will be available to answer any questions. I would advise everyone thinking about their CAO choices to attend this event.”

Visit ATU Donegal on Thursday, November 9th from 9:30 AM to 2 PM for a memorable Open Day. The team at ATU Donegal looks forward to welcoming you to the campus and showcasing all that the university has to offer. To register, visit atu.ie/donegalopenday
