The annual Swim in Pink event for Breast Cancer Research is set to make a splash once again at Portsalon Pier Beach this coming Bank Holiday Monday at 11.00 am.
This event has become an important fixture in Portsalon’s calendar since its inception in October 2021, with the community hosting a swim every year.
Participants in the Pink Dash to Splash are promised a fun and active swim, followed by a warm up with tea and apple tart. The national event has raised over €70,000 over the past two years, with the aim of continuing to raise funds for a great cause.
The brave dippers are looking forward to turning Portsalon pink once again this year, hoping to raise even more money for breast cancer research. So come along for a dip and show your support for this important cause!
