The Irish Heart Foundation is offering a free CPR and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) course along with a session on common medical emergencies and conditions.
The course is available to the general public and is being held at various venues throughout Donegal.
Paul Stevenson, from Vital OBS, will lead the course and provide participants with the knowledge and skills to potentially save someone’s life.
The course will take place from 6pm to 9pm on the following dates and locations: Community Centre in Lifford on Monday 6th November, Ionad Naomh Padraig Dore on Monday 20th November, Milford PSC on Thursday 23rd November, Inishowen Development Partnership in Buncrana on Monday 27th November, and An Craoibhin in Termon on Wednesday 29th November.
Participants will learn how to perform CPR, how to use an AED, and how to handle common medical emergencies such as choking, heart attacks, and strokes. They will also learn about common medical conditions.
