Appeals for information are being made after a car was set on fire in Lifford last week.

At approximately 5 minutes past midnight on Wednesday the 25th of October Gardaí say the car was set alight at Hazelwood Drive, requiring emergency services to attend the scene.

The car was completely written off as a result of the fire.

Gardaí in Letterkenny are looking for anyone who spotted any suspicious activity, people or vehicles in the Hazelwood Drive area on the night to come forward to them.

They are also reminding the public that they can contact the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 if they wish to provide information anonymously.
