Missing since Halloween night: Can you help find Shep?

The owners of Shep, a border collie, are seeking his safe return after he went missing from the Mountain Top area of Letterkenny on Halloween night.

He has one brown and one white eye, has a white stripe on his forehead and a white tip on his tail.

Shep has been missing since Halloween night from the Calhame/Mountain Top area from 7pm.

He is terrified of fireworks and jumped a 6-7 ft fence. He’s largely an indoor dog and would never be gone this long.

“I think he probably went in the direction of the quarry to get away from the noise, but he literally could have gone anywhere,” his owner said.

He is microchipped and has a brown collar with his name tag and the owner’s number on it.

“My worry is he could get stuck in a fence/wire because he’s so frightened. Please keep an eye out and share if you can. He usually responds well to whistling/his name and is a very gentle dog. If you have sheds, fields, fences on your land in that area, please check in case he got injured somewhere.”

If you do know of Shep’s whereabouts, please call 0879932988.
