Gardaí are appealing for information following a so-called ‘prank’ in Carndonagh on Halloween Night.
The incident occurred at an address at Chapel Street on Tuesday the 31 st of October between 10pm and 10.30pm.
Two youths entered the rear garden at the address and they caused damage while there. They took a number of flower pots and two bins with them when they were leaving. One of the bins was recovered at Churchland Quarters at 10.30pm. None of the other property was recovered.
“Some people would describe this as a Halloween prank, but there was nothing funny about it for the householders,” Sergeant Garda Eunan Walsh said.
He appeal to anybody who travelled in the areas of Chapel Street or Churchland Quarters and who had a dash cam between those times to make contact with Gardaí in Buncrana on 074-9320540.
