Donegal couple celebrate wedding with un-bale-iveable statues!

A local couple celebrated their wedding in perhaps the most “Donegal” way possible – by having two giant statues made from bales of hay dressed up in wedding gear.

Christine McDermott and Patrick Gibbons got married this weekend at the Silver Tassie Hotel, but the celebrations were not just confined to the the dancefloor.

These am-hay-zing structures were spotted on the road near Termon, with the couple seemingly more than happy to have the day’s proceedings wrapped up.
