A garda investigation is taking place into a collision during the Donegal Harvest Mini Stages Rally on Saturday.
Two spectators were seriously injured when they were struck by a car during stage 3 of the race at Magheramenagh Junction near Dunfanaghy.
A man in his 60s and another man in his 40s were taken to Letterkenny University Hospital to be treated for injuries believed to be serious but non-life threatening. No other injuries were reported.
Special Stage 5 of the rally was cancelled following the incident on Saturday afternoon.
A garda spokesperson confirmed to Donegal Daily that “investigations are ongoing.”
The Donegal Harvest Rally finished on Saturday evening, with Derry’s Callum Devine being crowned the winner.
