Gardaí are investigating the theft of a boiler from a house in Letterkenny last week.

The burglary occurred at McClure’s Terrace, just off the High Road, between 8pm on Wednesday

the 8th of November and 11am on Thursday the 9th. The front door of the property was broken and entry was gained. A boiler unit was stolen along with some copper piping. The removal of these items then led to some flooding within the property. A secure shed at the rear of the house was also broken into.

Anybody who may have observed any suspicious activity in that area between last Wednesday night and Thursday morning is urged to make contact with Gardaí in Letterkenny on 074-9167100. The Garda Confidential line can also be reached on 1800 666 111.
