Daniel plays the hackers at their own game!

Daniel O’Donnell and his team have turned the table on hackers by playing them at their own game.

The millionaire singer has been the victim of scammers pretending to be him online in recent months.

He was even the victim of hackers who pretended to be the star after his mother-in-law Marion Roche passed away in September.

But now Daniel and his team have attempted to get their own back on fraudsters who pretend to represent the global entertainer.

Daniel’s personal assistant and niece Tricia recently replied to hackers who claimed they were selling ‘meet and greet’ packages with the singer.

Tricia engaged with the hackers and pretended to look for ten ‘meet and greet’ passes including her grandmother.

She goaded the hackers “There’s ten of us going but I’d be happy with two (passes). My grandma is almost 100 and I’d love her to meet him.”

Tricia then goes back to the hackers and asks if the meet and greets passes are free and suggests this might be a scam.

The scammer replies “I don’t have to force you to buy it. But I swear it is not.”

Tricia then reveals her identity and says “Oh, it is because I’m his PA and you’re a scammer. Shame on you.”

The scammer then calls Tricia insane and she replies “I think you might be the one that’s insane.”

Fans of Daniel have rowed in behind the star after his team made an example of one of the scammers.

Sheree Tailford said “Wow… People will do anything to try and get money out of others. Daniel NEVER charges for his meet and greets.”
