Another weekend of mostly wet and windy weather is in the cards for Donegal.
Met Éireann say that while there will be some intermittent clear spells this weekend, we can expect rain showers to dominate the skies this weekend.
Today, Saturday, we can expect some bright spells at times, but potentially heavy and prolonged showers will stretch throughout today into this evening and tonight. Fresh winds, with gusts in coastal areas are forecast, with a chance of hail or thunderstorms at times as well.
Today will be mild though, with highest temperatures expected to be between 11 and 13 degrees during the day, and 8 to 10 degrees overnight tonight.
Tomorrow, Sunday, is also predicted to be much of the same. While there will be some spells of sunshine, heavy, prolonged showers are expected throughout tomorrow and into Sunday night, with strong winds also.
