Vigil for Palestinian children being held in Letterkenny on Monday

A vigil in honour of the children of Palestine will take place in Letterkenny next week.

The vigil is being organised by Donegal ISPC.

It will be held at 6pm this Monday evening, at the Market Square in Letterkenny – coinciding with World Children’s Day 2023.

It is yet another event showing solidarity to Palestinians in the town, after a number of demonstrations in recent weeks in Letterkenny have called for an end to the bloodshed in Gaza.

It’s estimated that over 4,000 Palestinian children have been killed following Israeli bombardments in the disputed West Bank over the last month.
