If you’re looking for the perfect gift, made locally, then don’t miss the Donegal Craftmakers annual craft fair at the Silver Tassie Hotel in Letterkenny. The event will take place this Sunday, November 26th and will start at 12 noon. Admission is free for everyone.

This year, the event will be supporting the local branch of the RNLI. Members of the branch will be present to provide information, activities, and to hold a fundraising raffle.

The Donegal Craftmakers is a not-for-profit group that aims to promote and support local craft workers. Throughout the year, they organise events, fairs, and promotions of the wide range of products and services produced by locally-based craft makers.

This year, the promotion is “Shop Quality – Shop Local”. The makers themselves will be present on the day and can explain the process they use to create their crafts, so you can see how it’s done!

There will be a wide variety of products exhibited at the fair, including Donegal bakes and jams, Kombucha organic drinks, tweed weavers, lamp makers, luxury soaps, art and painting, felt art, poly resin gifts, headwear and bags, wooden gifts, prints and print gifts, Donegal greeting cards, wax candles, and alpaca giftware. All of these products are of high quality and affordable.
