Talented artists from the Finn Valley are set to host a weekend art sale and exhibition during Christmas shopping season.
This year, the exhibition will take place in the Drumboe Suite in Jacksons Hotel, Ballybofey on Saturday, December 9th, from 10am until 10pm, and on Sunday, December 10th, from 11am until 6pm.
The artists include Morgan Ferriter, Philomena Cater, Veronica Maguire, Bernie Anderson, Zoe Dubief, Air-Jeana Mc Cann and Johnny Boyle. Each creator is well-known for their unique styles and will showcase their paintings, fine art prints, and wearable art at the event.
Art enthusiasts will have the opportunity to purchase original artworks, fine art prints, and wearable art at a reasonable price. Many of the artworks will feature local scenes and Christmas themes, making them perfect for last-minute, original presents.
The artists are thrilled to meet their guests and talk about their painting process and styles throughout the day.
“The event will be very exciting as there will be something in everyone’s price range and the artwork will be visually stunning,” they said.
This year, the exhibition will feature a free children’s art competition open to all children. Kids can draw or paint a picture and enter the competition in the Expo room. The winner will be announced on Sunday at 4pm, and the prize is a fantastic children’s art materials hamper.
