Now, we’re not going as far as to promise snow just yet.
But much of Ireland will be hit by an arctic blast in the coming days as a huge cold front flows down from Scandinavia.
Forecasters in Scotland and England ARE forecasting snow for their regions as temperatures are set to plunge well below average for the time of year.
And Donegal is set to shiver too.
The North and East of Ireland is set to plunge as low as -2 degrees Celsius from Friday night onwards.
Saturday will be a cold day with temperatures reaching just 5 to 8 degrees in most places. It will be followed by a cold night on Saturday night.
Temperatures will improve on Sunday and into the start of next week, but there is a possibility of another cold snap at the start of December.
The odds of Ireland having a white Christmas are long however, with a mild and wet few days forecast for around December 25th.
