This year’s Polar Plunge in Rathmullan is set to be part of an even bigger day out at the popular seaside town.

The event, which has been running for a number of years, will be part of a number of events being run on December 9th by the local community.

But once again all those brave enough to take the plunge into Lough Swilly will be happy in the knowledge that they are supporting those behind and taking part in the Special Olympics.

Those who haven’t signed up for the even just yet are being encouraged to get their skates on and sign up here https://specialolympicsireland.beaconforms.com/form/d57ece83

The day also includes a Christmas Fair, Arts & Crafts, Music & Entertainment, storytelling, Santa & Mrs Claus and much more!

Organisers have received the backing of Gala Retail for the event as well as the International Fund for Ireland.

Organisers are hoping for a big crowd on the day and even if you’re not brave enough to plunge, get along and support those who are.
