Irish-Israeli girl Emily Hand has been returned to her family after being held hostage for over a month.

She was one of 13 Israeli hostages exchanged today by Hamas as part of the temporary ceasefire deal.

Emily was captured on October 7th.

She was reunited with her family at a hospital in Israel this morning.

In a statement, Tanaiste and Foreign Affairs Minister Michael Martin said that he was “delighted” that “a bright and beautiful young girl has been released and will be reunited with her family.”
