Donegal County Council is planning to grit all main roads in Donegal this evening (Tuesday) from 7pm.
Staff will also treat roads from 6am tomorrow morning (Wednesday).
Met Eireann is forecasting a chilly night with lowest temperatures of -2 to 1 Celsius.
“There will be frost and possibly ice in some areas. Areas of mist and fog will form as winds stay light and variable,” the forecast said.
ALL Donegal Winter Maintenance designated gritting routes will be gritted from 7PM on Tue. 28/11 and from 6AM on Wed. 29/11.
