A Letterkenny business brought some early Christmas cheer to the Paediatrics ward at Letterkenny University Hospital today.
The Value Centre gifted fun advent calendars to the youngest patients of the hospital today, helping them begin the countdown to Christmas.
Annie Condron, whose son Oscar (4) has been in hospital since Wednesday night, said she was touched by the gesture.
“This morning the nurses came around with advent calendars for the boys and girls on the ward,” Annie told Donegal Daily.
“In these times it’s so lovely to have an act of kindness and sometimes they are not talked about or given the attention they deserve.”
The Value Centre’s donation was warmly welcomed by children on the ward, brightening their stay during the season of giving.
