It will be a frosty start this morning across Ulster with some ice, gradually clearing.

Generally, It’ll be a bright day with some spells of winter sunshine and scattered showers, with the chance of a few of hail or sleet, mainly over higher ground. Highest temperatures 3 to 7 degrees in mostly moderate northwesterly winds, a little fresher at times in coastal parts.

It will be dry in most places tonight with clear spells and just a few isolated showers, the odd wintry one. Cloudier along eastern coastal parts though with outbreaks of rain. There’s the possibility of some isolated fog or freezing fog patches too as winds decrease mostly light northwesterly or variable, though winds will be fresher in eastern coastal parts. Cold; with lowest temperatures generally ranging from around -3 to +1 degrees, with fairly widespread frost and ice.

Tomorrow morning will see another frosty, icy start for many with a few isolated patches of fog and freezing fog, gradually clearing to leave a mainly dry bright day for many with spells of sunshine. Cloudier along the east coast though with some rain for a time in the morning. Highest temperatures of 3 to 6 degrees in mostly light breezes.
