Gardaí are investigating the theft of a significant number of power tools from a shed in Muff last weekend.

The locks of a shed at Lenamore were forced open 7am and 7:30am on Saturday morning, the 2nd of December.

The stolen items include a black and green Hilti SDS Max tango drill, a black and green Hitachi impact drill, a black and green Hitachi impact gun and a black and green Hilti cordless grinder.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone who observed any suspicious activity or any suspicious vehicles in the area to contact Buncrana Garda Station on 0749320540.

Anyone that might have travelled in the area between Lenamore and Muff between 7am and 8am that may have dashcam footage is asked to share it, as it could be very relevant in this investigation.

Two other thefts were reported last week in both Muff and Convoy.

The first was reported at Carrickbrack, Convoy on Wednesday the 29th of November between 3pm and 5pm. Entry was gained to an unlocked shed but nothing was taken. Anyone who noticed any suspicious activity in the Carrickbrack area or the surrounding areas between those times is asked to to contact Gardaí in Letterkenny on 0749167100.

A second burglary in Muff was reported at Knowhead Road between Friday the 1st of December and 9am Saturday the 2nd of December.

Entry was gained to a shed by forcing the locks but it would appear again that nothing was stolen.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Buncrana Garda Station on 0749320540.
