Glenfin footballer Yvonne Bonner has announced her retirement from Aussie Rules football.
Bonner has played 10 games with the Adelaide Crows this season, kicking six goals.
Bonner made her debut Down Under for the Greater Western Sydney Giants in 2019, kicking seven goals from 11 AFLW appearances, but an ankle injury prematurely ended her 2020 season and she later returned home due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
She returned to football for the 2023 AFLW Season.
“I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to return to Australia and play another season of AFLW,” Bonner said.
“It was such a great experience for me and my family and we are going to miss all the management, staff and girls who made us feel so welcome.”
