A wind warning has been issued for Donegal for tomorrow (Sat).
The yellow warning alert, issued by Met Eireann, comes into effect from midday tomorrow and will last until 8pm tomorrow evening.
The alert warns that “strong and gusty west to northwest winds with the potential for wave overtopping.”
Wave over-topping occurs along coastal areas when waves have the capacity to wash over protection structures such as breakwaters and piers.
