The Rathmullan Polar Plunge charity event scheduled for later today has been cancelled following the issuing of severe weather warnings for County Donegal.
In a statement on social media, the event’s organisers said that the cancellation was forced after an orange weather warning was issued for the county today, and that a new date for the event will be announced in due course.
Concluding, organisers said they were “very sorry for any inconvenience caused at this short notice”, but that the “safety of our plungers is paramount.”
