The grand total of the 2023 McElhinneys Sleep Out for Simon has been revealed, with €16,000 going towards people experiencing or at risk of homelessness.

The North West Simon Community has expressed its gratitude to the team at McElhinneys for their remarkable fundraising efforts once again thie year. The annual sleep out, which took place in early November, saw staff members braving the elements for a night to raise funds and awareness for local homeless prevention and support services.

Thanks to the generosity of all those who donated, the event raised an incredible €16,000. This money will go directly towards providing vital support services to help prevent and resolve homelessness in the region. The North West Simon Community expressed their heartfelt appreciation to everyone who contributed to the cause.

A spokesperson for NW Simon said: “The €16,000 will go directly to support the services provided to help prevent and resolve homelessness across the region at a time when we need it most. Thank you, thank you so much, we are forever grateful for your support.”

Your donation this Christmas will help us to prevent and resolve homelessness in Donegal, Leitrim, and Sligo.
