The public is being urged to visit the Christmas Tree of Remembrance at the Letterkenny Shopping Centre.

The tree, organised by Letterkenny Rotary Club, supporting the St V de Paul Society, No Barriers Foundation & Rotary International charities.

People are encouraged to write the name of a loved one on a yellow ribbon, tie it on the tree and perhaps make a donation.

A spokesperson said “You can remember someone special in this way with a yellow ribbon, someone who has passed away, someone who is ill, who can’t get home for Christmas or for any special intention that you wish.

“It is strictly confidential and you’ll also get a free Christmas card too.”

The tree will be there right up to Christmas Eve so your support this year again would be greatly appreciated once more!
