Magee is a fifth generation Irish family business with over 150 years of experience in designing, weaving and tailoring cloth and clothing in Donegal. The Company operates across manufacturing, wholesale, retail and e-commerce.
We have two part-time vacancies in the Weavers Loft Bistro at our iconic store on The Diamond, Donegal Town, where we serve great food, sourced locally and cooked to an exceptionally high standard.
Key responsibilities:-
- Serving customers, ensuring that all orders are taken correctly and that the food is served in an efficient, courteous and friendly manner.
- Assisting with food prep as required under the guidance of the Chef.
- Making teas, coffees etc and plating up the desserts.
- Regular cleaning of all areas of the dining and kitchen areas.
- Taking payments and cashing up at the end of the day.
Key requirements:-
- The ability to work as part of a team is essential whilst also being able to use one’s own initiative.
- Some experience in a similar environment would be an advantage but is not necessary.
- The ability to a bake would also be great advantage.
- Enthusiasm, a great work ethos and an engaging personality.
Both roles are part-time covering a six-day rota, Monday to Saturday, so flexibility is vital and, as such, not suitable for students.
