The road between Letterkenny and Trentagh has been closed after a hole appeared in the middle of a bridge.

Councillor Michael McBride visited the location today to witness for himself the damage at Bradley’s farm.

Cllr McBride says Donegal County Council informed him the road from Trentagh towards the Clareman’s Junction/Killyclug will be closed until the New Year.

“This road will remain closed until the New Year and alternative routes will be in place,” he said.

“Please spread the word as this is a very busy road so people can plan an alternative route travelling to and from Letterkenny at this very busy Christmas time.”
