Gardaí are investigating the suspicious death of a man in Tipperary after the discovery of a body in a house.
The man was discovered dead at a property at Kilross, just outside Tipperary Town.
One line of enquiry is that the man had been assaulted.
Officers have sealed off the property since the discovery shortly after 4am this morning.
The office of the State Pathologist have been notified and a post-mortem examination will be arranged, the results of which will determine the course of the Garda investigation.
The scene remains preserved at this time for a forensic and technical examination.
