The injured child’s mother said her little girl is now “more alert and even smiled” as she updated a Go Fund Me page to raise funds for her medical and after care.
She said; “our angel has been out of the PICU for two weeks now. She is more alert and even smiled. We still have a long time still in hospital, but she is out of danger.”
She thanked everyone for all the help and support they have given and wished everyone a happy Christmas and New year.
The five-year-old girl and a créche worker are still receiving treatment for their injuries in hospital.
Another six-year-old girl and a five-year-old boy were also treated in hospital, but were later discharged.
