Thousands hit by power outage in Inishowen

Thousands of people across Inishowen have been hit by a power outage this morning.

A total of 5,902 ESB customers were left in the dark following the outage in and around the Buncrana area.

It si understood crews are on scene trying to fix the outage.

The network has apologised and said it hopes to have the fault fixed shortly and power restored.
