Donegal to host vigils in support of Palestine tomorrow

County Donegal will host two vigils in support of the Palestinian people tomorrow, as part of a national solidarity campaign.

Both vigils are taking place at 3pm on New Year’s Eve – one at the Market Square in Letterkenny, the other at Castle Bridge in the Swan Park in Buncrana.

The events are being organised by the Ireland Palestine Solidarity Campaign, with numerous other vigils being held nationwide tomorrow.

They come as Israel has continued its devastating attacks on civilians in Gaza, with over 21,000 Palestinians being killed by Israeli strikes which have reduced much of Gaza to rubble in the last three months.
