Water outages in Manorcunningham and its surrounding areas have been reported once again, in what has become a regular occurrance for residents in the area.
Works to install improved water infrastructure in the area are scheduled to begin early in 2024, which can’t come soon enough for residents as outages are affecting the area today in what has become a regular occurrence.
Local Cllr Donal “Mandy” Kelly says that he has notified Uisce Éireann and Donegal County Council of the problems, which are currently affecting Manorcunningham, as well as Raymochy and Rossbracken.
Cllr Kelly said that “the sooner the works start on this new pipeline the better. I continue to keep pressure on to try ensure these works start at the end of January/beginning of February.”
