It’s understood that several roads in the county are currently impassable due to snow and ice.
Met Éireann has warned road users of treacherous conditions in Donegal after issuing a snow and ice warning for this morning, and have advised anyone travelling in the county today to exercise caution.
While that weather warning has now officially expired, road conditions are still believed to be poor in several areas, with the Lough Salt road as well as the road at the back of Mount Errigal currently believed to be impassable.
