A select number of main roads across Donegal are to be gritted tomorrow morning, New Year’s Day (Monday).
Met Eireann is forecasting lows of 0C in Ulster counties this New Year’s Eve. There will be some heavy and possibly thundery showers, but the showers will become more isolated as the night wears on.
“The fresh, locally strong, and gusty westerly winds will slowly ease and back southwest. Becoming cold as temperatures dip to between zero and 4 Celsius,” the forecast said.
The following routes will be gritted from 6AM on Mon. 01/01:
- 01: National Primary North
- 02: National Primary Central
- 09: Cill Ulta East
- 12: Binswilly
- 13: Stranorlar North
- 14: Stranorlar East
- 15: Stranorlar West
- 17: Donegal North
- 18: Donegal South
- LT: Letterkenny Town
