Letterkenny has been named as one of the top 10 locations for Irish holidaymakers to take a “staycation” in for the upcoming year.
Airbnb released their data this week on the trips that Irish holidaymakers have been planning for 2024.
And according to Airbnb, Letterkenny is the ninth-most popular option for those planning their Irish staycation this year.
Many of those who stay in Letterkenny use the town as their base while discovering the other parts of the county.
The ratings are based on search data from Irish users planning their 2024 trips between January and September of last year.
Wexford is the most popular destination for staycations, with Greece dominating Airbnb bookings for Irish holidaygoers.
