Gardaí say diversions are to remain in place at the scene of a fatal collision that happened in Letterkenny last night.
A woman in her 20s was killed when she was struck by a car on the N56 road at Illistrin.
A Garda spokesperson says that the road will remain closed for technical examinations until this afternoon.
They’ve also renewed appeals for dashcam footage as they continue to investigate the fatal collision.
Anyone who was driving on the N56 Letterkenny to Kilmacrennan road at Illistrin, between 6pm and 7:15pm yesterday evening and has dashcam footage has been asked to make it available to Gardaí.
Gardaí are also continuing to appeal to any witnesses to the collision to come forward.
