A local Councillor has called on the culprit of a dumping incident to collect their rubbish, after it was left in the entrance of a woodland near Ballybofey.

The rubbish was dumped at the entrance of the Goland woods, which has seen repeated dumping incidents in recent months.

Cllr Patrick McGowan shared an image of the rubbish on social media, including a rubbish bag as well as a number of discarded items and loose bags.

On social media, Cllr McGowan said “whoever dumped their Christmas rubbish, toys and clothes at the entrance to Goland woods please come and collect. The local litter warden has been notified.”
