A man was shot during a football match in County Tipperary last night according to Gardaí.
They say the incident took place at Rear Cross shortly after 9pm, when the man in question was shot in the arm after an incident at the facility.
His injuries are not believed to be life threatening, but he was treated by paramedics at the scene before being transferred to Limerick University Hospital.
Gardaí have appealed for witnesses.
